I was born and raised in Minnesota. I earned my BA in English Literature at Carleton College in Northfield, MN, and my MA in Poetry at Queen's University, Belfast. I am currently an MA/PhD student at UConn studying Contemporary British/Irish Poetics, with a particular interest in Translation Studies. I have never played Galaga, but I have been known to go in for Space Junkies, and I study the tabla (a North Indian percussion instrument).
